The minimum wall thickness is determined by the requirements for reinforcement for a specific application. In general, a fiberglass mat/roving laminate should have a minimum wall thickness of .070. The maximum wall thickness is determined by the strength requirements. (1.00" thick laminates or greater are possible if required.)
The wall thickness should be constant throughout the profile if possible, but can be varied within the profile by a ratio of 2.5:1 if necessary. The percentage of fiberglass can vary between 50 - 70% by weight depending on the design of the profile.
